Recently, a Li Ning warehouse introduced RFID technology in its receiving scanning area to address the inefficiencies and high error rates of traditional inbound processes. This not only improved the accuracy of goods receiving but also significantly enhanced the automation level of the entire warehouse management system.
Li Ning deployed UHF RFID Tunnel Readers ST-TR1 in the warehouse’s receiving scanning area. The advantages are as follows:
1. Rapid Batch Reading
It can capture RFID label information of items in real time during high-speed operation, with an extremely fast identification speed—over 200 items per second. This process is fully automated, improving the accuracy of data collection and reducing the complexity and workload of manual operations.
2. Efficient Data Processing and Real-Time Feedback
During the scanning process, the ST-TR1 not only reads RFID tags but also displays the reading results in real time on the device’s touchscreen. An immediate goods list is generated on the screen for easy verification by management personnel. If the system detects any anomalies, such as missing tags or quantity discrepancies, the device will immediately issue an alarm via sound or visual signals, prompting operators to conduct further inspection and handling.
3. Equipment Flexibility and Scalability
The ST-TR1 features a flexible design, supporting customization to meet diverse operational needs. Li-Ning’s warehouse not only uses it for routine inbound processing but can also automatically sort out defective goods using its sorting module as needed. This scalability allows the device to adapt to various warehouse management scenarios, meeting Li-Ning’s growing automation requirements.
Li-Ning’s RFID application solution provides a powerful reference for other enterprises’ digital transformation and offers practical experience for rapid and efficient warehouse logistics management.
