System Objective
RFID system can automatically read and record data on tags without human intervention. This can greatly reduce human error and data entry time, improve the accuracy and real-time data.
By ensuring accurate inventory management and rapid identification of goods, reducing the risk of loss and theft, RFID can help improve warehouse security. In addition, due to the real-time and accuracy of the data, managers can make better decisions, improving the overall level of warehouse management.
RFID technology can track the location of various items and equipment in a warehouse in real time. Compared to traditional barcodes, RFID does not require a direct visible line, so it can locate and track items more efficiently, including in all corners of the warehouse and on multilayer shelves.
RFID technology makes warehouse operations more efficient. Employees can retrieve and identify stored items more quickly, reducing search and waiting times, which can optimize the operation of the entire supply chain.
System Advantages
RFID(Radio Frequency Identification system)is a non-contact automatic identification technology that uses radio waves to identify markers on target objects for wireless data recognition and obtaining relevant information.
The RFID system in the laundry factory can realize the comprehensive automated data collection of warehouse management, including arrival inspection, in-warehouse, ex-warehouse, transfer, relocation, and inventory counting, ensuring data input speed and accuracy, helping enterprises to timely and accurately grasp inventory situation, effectively manage and control inventory. Scientific coding also makes it easy to manage the batch and shelf life of items.
Implementation Process
1. When items are stored, RFID tags are affixed to the items, which usually contain a unique identification code and possible other information such as product type, batch number, etc.
2. After labeling, the staff will scan each item to prepare for subsequent management. And this ensures that each item has a unique identifier for easy tracking and management.
3.The received data is stored in the database, and management personnel can monitor the location and status of items in real time through the warehouse management system.
4.Install a door type reader at the warehouse exit. When goods pass through the entrance, the reader can simultaneously recognize multiple tags and record the time and quantity of goods leaving the warehouse.
