The FOCUSRFID automated vehicle access system comprises four core modules, featuring deep hardware-software integration and compatibility with diverse installation environments, such as underground garages and open-air campuses:

1. RFID Vehicle Tag Issuance Module
FOCUSRFID’s dedicated issuance equipment writes encrypted data—including license plate numbers, owner details, access permissions, and validity periods—onto specialized RFID tags designed for windshields. These passive tags (requiring no power supply) are affixed to the interior of the front windshield; they are waterproof, heat-resistant, and durable enough for long-term outdoor use. Each tag features a globally unique ID, eliminating the risk of cloning or license plate swapping.
2. Long-Range Data Acquisition Unit
FOCUSRFID UHF RFID readers are deployed at entry and exit points, offering a reading range of 3–12 meters and supporting simultaneous multi-tag identification—allowing the system to read tags from multiple vehicles entering in quick succession. The system also integrates high-definition video-based license plate recognition, creating a dual-verification process (RFID + Visual Recognition) that ensures high accuracy.
3. Integrated Cloud-Local Information Processing Platform
Once readers capture real-time vehicle tag and license plate data, the information is uploaded to the FOCUSRFID management host, which performs database cross-referencing within milliseconds:
Authorized vehicles: A barrier-lift command is issued for automatic entry/exit.
Blacklisted/Unauthorized vehicles: Audio-visual alarms are triggered, the barrier remains lowered, and images are captured and stored.
The platform includes “anti-repeat” logic to prevent redundant barrier activation: after a vehicle exits, the reader detects the tag but does not send a repeat lift signal, thereby preventing equipment wear caused by excessive barrier cycling.
4. Intelligent Barrier Linkage Hardware
The system incorporates integrated intelligent barriers, ground induction loops, vehicle detectors, vehicle stoppers, and lane controllers to form a complete operational chain. Once a vehicle has fully cleared the induction loop zone, the barrier lowers automatically; the entire process requires no manual intervention by security personnel, enabling true unattended operation.
